Licensing Coordinator

Job Summary

This role is responsible for assisting providers who are scheduled for both locums and/or permanent assignments with obtaining a State Medical License. These licenses must be completed and active prior to the assignment start date.  This professional will be responsible for maintaining relationships with providers and state and federal government contacts by regularly communicating with such individuals via phone and/or email to help facilitate the completion of all necessary requirements and related documentation.  This person will be responsible for determining if providers meet the standards/requirements to be eligible for a state medical license.



· Demonstrate ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing, internally and externally

· Demonstrate ability to exercise appropriate discretion in making recommendations

· Demonstrate ability to deliver results and maintain a high level of accountability

· Strong prioritizing, multitasking, project management, organizational and time management skills

· Resourcefulness; proactively seeks out information and resources

· Autonomous; self-directed

· Effective in evolving culture; operates well in ambiguous situations

· Able to prioritize needs among several competing demands

· Could require working outside of business hours to resolve emergency issues should they arise



· Preferred: Associate’s degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school

· Preferred: Six months to one year related experience and/or training

· Minimum Required: High School diploma

· Proven ability to achieve quotas

· Adept in MS Office, particularly Excel and Word
