Robert Moghim M.D. - Founder, Chief Executive Officer, Chairman

Dr. Robert Moghim is a board certified anesthesiologist who founded Onyx M.D. in early 2005.  His extensive medical background provides a unique perspective on the ever-evolving healthcare industry.

 

As the CEO and overall leader, he is responsible for the mission and vision of the company.  He instituted the E.L.I.T.E. model of principles that has helped the company grow rapidly since its inception.  In a relatively short time, the company has opened two offices, one in Denver and one in Dallas.  The company has established a national staffing presence in all 50 states and created revenue growth on track to become one of the largest privately-held physician staffing companies in the United States.  Dr. Moghim is also the founder and president of an influential medical practice group in California.  He has been an active consultant in the field of practice management and sits on the Healthcare Executive Committee at the Chamber of Commerce.

 

Dr. Moghim was raised in TN and TX where he achieved All-American honors as a top soccer player in the nation and represented his country on the youth U.S. National Team.  He went on to play as a collegiate NCAA Division 1 athlete at Duke University which earned a top ranking in the nation with appearances in two final four tournaments and one national championship.  In his free time, Dr. Moghim enjoys spending time with his family.  Other interests include politics, healthcare policy and physician advocacy.
