Monty McKentry - Vice President, Client Services & Recruitment

Mr. McKentry brings with him over 11 years of healthcare staffing experience and currently oversees client sales and provider recruitment for Onyx M.D.  He is also the primary contact for government procurement.  Monty's primary responsibilities are top-line production and he serves as a member on the Executive Committee.

 

During his tenure with the nation's largest healthcare staffing firm, Monty worked in a variety of roles starting as a recruiter and earning multiple promotions along the way.  One of those promotions was that of Divisional Vice President for a new division that grew to $20+ million in revenues in 3 years.

 

Monty attended Sul Ross State University and the University of Texas, El Paso majoring in Criminal Justice with a minor in Psychology, played football and participated in Army ROTC.  He met his wife in Michigan while living and working in Indiana after college and they have a daughter and son.  While spending quality time with his family is priority 1, Monty is also a passionate and loyal sports fan following the likes of The Dallas Cowboys, Los Angeles Lakers, Notre Dame Fighting Irish and Indiana Hoosiers.

 

Monty's experiences have taught him that when you train hard, you build the strength needed to keep going and NEVER let anyone tell you what you can or cannot do...always be in control and will succeed even against the odds.
