Texas Hospitalists Needed Near the Gulf of Mexico

A hospitalist group in southern Texas near the Gulf is searching for an internist to join their group. Currently there are two fulltime hospitalists and one locum tenens hospitalist providing coverage there. Two hospitalists work at all times - 1 for admission, 1 for backup. The schedule is 14 days on followed by 7 days off. Call: Every other day, 7 am to 7am. The average daily census per doctor is 15-20, and one physician is on call after hours.
