Traditional Internal Medicine Physician Needed in Quaint, Cozy Community

This job is a perfect locum-to-perm opportunity. If you are considering a permanent position, then consider this locum-to-perm opportunity, where you can test-drive the job before you commit to it. A hospital owned clinic in southeastern Ohio is looking for an Internal Medicine physician. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:30-4:30, and 8 hour days. There is weekday and weekend call required, with inpatient call. Inpatient rounding is required in the evenings after clinic hours. The patient census is about 20-25 patients per day, half of them adults and half of them geriatric patients. PA and RN support staff is available, and the entire staff is very easy to get along with. The typical patients seen are geriatrics, UCH, diabetes, hypertension, cardiovascular issues, pneumonia, COPD, etc.

There are numerous state parks and forests, golf courses, rivers and lakes for canoeing and boating, and miles of hiking and biking trails. Or you can go to a day spa, interactive museum, factory tour, water park, or amusement park. This is a great opportunity!
