Outpatient Pediatric/Family Practice Locum Tenens Assignment near San Antonio, Texas

An urban outpatient practice is seeking a Pediatrician or a Family Practitioner who is comfortable seeing infants to assist 5-6 days per week. The schedule is Monday 9a-7p, Tuesday to Friday 9a-5p; and every other Saturday from 9a-1p. This facility also welcomes part time help.

Locum tenens candidates must be bilingual in English/Spanish. There are 2 NPS currently working in the practice; the locum would be the only MD/DO, and he or she should expect to see up to 30 patients per day. Board eligible or board certified candidates are welcome, as are new grads. Comfort with some urgent care procedures is highly preferred. This is a long-term locum tenens opportunity, and there is a permanent position available as well for the right candidate.
