Mr. Thornton started his career in the healthcare staffing industry in December 1999. He has focused on multiple specialties including Surgery, Primary Care, Internal Medicine subspecialties, Radiology and Anesthesia. In addition to his vast knowledge of healthcare and the locum tenens realm, Mr. Thornton has over 20 years of experience in employee development and training, stemming from diverse backgrounds such as healthcare, restaurants and telecommunications. His patience, perseverance and focus, coupled with years of experience, then led him to Onyx M.D., where he facilitated in the launch of the Dallas office. He then relocated to the Denver area in January 2010. His current responsibilities include Marketing, Sales Development, Human Resources, Training, Employee Development, Database Management, Website Management and Corporate Recruiting.
Brian was born and raised in Dallas, Texas, and enjoys spending time with his wife and son. In his free time, he fervently follows the Dallas Stars hockey team. Brian Thornton
